Peaceful
My husband & I rented the Heron View room for two nights in mid-June. It's very quiet on Lowell Point. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. If you want the full experience, I would suggest you spring for the cabins on the water -- they are beautiful.

Great facility in beautiful location
The Heron View is compact, but it has everything you need. Owners are organized and thoughtful. Facility is very clean. I was picturing a slightly more remote location, but it ended up being nice to be close to Millers Landing. Our room had great water views.

If you have your own car, makes no sense to stay in Seward hotels
We stayed here only for one night (Heron's View) due to limited availability...These cabins in Angels Rest are very comfortable and have tremendous views,...Plus many of these rooms are cheaper than paying for a 3 star quality (my opinion) hotel in Seward. Opportunities to walk along the pebble/stone beach, fish, kayak are just a stone's throw away. These rooms tend to book quickly, particularly the lone cabins directly on the ocean front, so reserve early!

Fantastic place to stay in Seward - would definitely recommend to all!!
We stayed at Angels Rest for two nights and were VERY happy with how peaceful, clean and scenic it was. We were so happy we stayed down on Lowell Point vs. in town. We had the Heron View room upstairs in the quad-duplex and everything was very nice and clean - the owners don't miss a beat with information, items you may need, even binoculars to look out the window onto the water with! It was the little touches that made the difference over another hotel - hand soap in a pump, a cooler for each room, Alaskan DVDs...and the bed was super comfortable! When we come back, I'd like to try the waterfront cabins (they were sold out when we came) for an even closer view of the water

Cozy cabin with lots of amenities
We spent two nights in " Heron View", which felt like a Heron's nest - so cozy and well thought out. The space is small but so cleverly designed that you don't realize it. Everything is where you need it. My husband would have liked a little more space for hanging clothes. But the location, the view and Lynda's friendliness and responsiveness made our stay a real pleasure.

Absolutely Beautiful Views / Cozy Rooms = BEST STAY EVER!
We recently stayed at Angel's Rest in the "Heron's View" Room. It was perfect for us. The owners have thought of everything that a person could need - from coffee in the morning to binoculars for viewing wildlife out the window. The location of Angel's Rest is amazing. We spent our best days on our Alaska Vacation here.
